The world renowned ski villages of Vail, Breckenridge, Steamboat, Keystone, Copper Mountain, and Winter Park provide excellent recreational and cultural activities throughout the year in addition to fine dining, exclusive shopping and year-round entertainment.

There are 11 world class golf courses close to Shadow Creek Ranch. The Raven Golf Club at Three Peaks is considered one of the top courses in the country and, without hesitation, the best mountain course in Colorado. Located in Silverthorne, Colorado.

Beaver Creek Golf Club was voted one of the Top 10 in the country which is a testament to its designer, Robert Trent Jones.

The club at Cordillera is home to four very distinct golf courses, all were designed by some of the greatest names in the world of golf – Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio and Colorado native Hale Irwin.

Breckenridge Golf club has three championship courses , the BEAR the BEAVER and the ELK. All three nines are Jack Nicklaus Signaturecourses. Playing at 9300+ feet in elevation, each course offers a mountain golf experience. Panoramic views of the snowcapped Colorado Rockies can be seen on every hole.

Incredible whitewater rafting is just around the corner from Shadow Creek Ranch.

Gore Canyon – This is the most epic commercial whitewater in Colorado. The Gore Canyon section of the Upper Colorado River has some of the fiercest Class V rapids in the country and the steepest gradient drop per mile in Colorado. This trip is for advanced paddlers only. It’s located near Kremmling.

Little Gore Canyon – There is also a section called Little Gore Canyon, which features Class I-II, suitable for families, children, and those looking for a lazy float.

Pumphouse/Radium – The Colorado River flows southwest between Kremmling and Bond. Downstream from Gore Canyon is the Pumphouse Recreation Site. It features a campground and three boat launches, to access the Class II and III rapids.

Be it sailing on Lake Dillon, boating water-skiing and windsurfing on Green Mountain Reservoir, or attending music festivals held by the National Repertory Orchestra and Breckenridge Music Institute, Shadow Creek Ranch truly defines the best of both worlds – privacy and convenience.
